Whilst in Amsterdam presenting a nationwide tour of the Netherlands for the launch of the new Nikon D850 camera I managed to find time to conduct a photography workshop specifically designed for teenagers. This course is to get teenagers off there phones and educate them in the use of DSLR cameras. We dealt with lighting, posing and the creative options that a DSLR enables. It was really rewarding for me to see how enthusiastic the students were, especially when I showed them the Snapbridge app which facilitates the transfer of images immediately to your phone! The portraits you see below were shot by the students. Thank you to the staff and students of IVKO, an Arts High for inviting me to present. If you work at a school or would like more information about me presenting this lecture to a group of interested teenagers, please get in touch.
