On a warm Tuesday afternoon in late March, Jacquelyn and Andrew married each other.

The day started with a bit of garden cricket, – the wicket was green and wet and hence, a bit slow but Andrew, his two sons, his father and his closest friends enjoyed themselves thoroughly!

What a cracker way to start such a wonderful wedding!

The groom and his party then scrubbed themselves up niclely after their sweaty morning and all looked quite dashing in their suits from Suit Yourself

..
We then travelled to where Jacquelyn and her bridesmaids were preparing themselves for the big day. In time to capture the excitement and pre-wedding action,
the ladies were all having their hair and make-up done by Kendyl Benjamin and her assistant Kez.
Jackie wore a stunning Enzoani wedding gown “Avignon” from the Elysee Collection 2022 Purchased from A’mour Bridal Boutique

The moment had arrived  – Jackie was escorted down the aisle on the lawn of the stunning The Venue in Shongweni, KZN.
Jacquelyn’s gorgeous bouquet was created by Babara of  Rosamunds Florist
The KZN weather was on top form and the outdoor ceremony of The Venue was absolutely spectacular, made all the more special with the very emotional service, full of love and meaning.

A quick drive up the hill took us to the beautiful Ollivanders Estate where we shot the bridal party photographs.

Photographing a couple that were so comfortable was really a pleasure for me.  The love between these two is tangible, making for some gorgeous photos.
“Black Jack” a magnificent stallion was a great addition to the shoot, it was almost as if he understood English!
Moving him into position was effortless and he posed like a pro!

Back down to The Venue, where I photographed all the guests so that we could print and frame their images as gifts to take home with them after the wedding.
The printing was done by Stephen Railton and frames by The Frame Edge
The speeches were outstanding, with Andrew’s boys making their dad shed tears of pride.

Jacquelyn and her father-in-law Bob opened the dance floor, followed by the happy couple’s first dance as husband and wife.

Greig Lupke  – a legendary Wedding DJ, kept the guests on the dance floor for as long as was permitted – great fun was had by all!
